The RF switch is a device used to route signals. Only one setting can be active at a time. Nichecom offers the JFW range of models with electro-mechanical or solid-state design.

Electro-mechanical switches pass DC and RF signals with minimum loss but do have mechanical wear.

Solid-state switches have more through loss than electro-mechanical switches but have no mechanical wear and better MTBF.

RF switch assemblies with Ethernet control are also available.
