The Tekron TCG 02-G from Microchip Technology is a highly accurate, full featured GPS and GLONASS (GNSS) clock. With multiple oscillator options, time codes, and frequency outputs, it fits almost any timing application.

• TCG 02-G master clock is designed for use in modern day smart grid / smart substations, electricity distribution, transmission, and generation protection, as well as catering for industrial application systems and traditional substations
• Enhanced security features that support NERC CIP requirements
• Range of output options and single or dual redundant power supply inputs
• Second power supply can be a different voltage so can be powered from the 110 V and 48 Vdc supplies found in most substations
  • 230 Vac input option (using IEC 320 connectors) is also available
• Options include
  • 1 or two Ethernet ports, with optional NTP or PTP output
  • T1/E1 time signal outputs
  • OCXO Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator for improved holdover
  • RUBIDIUM for long-term holdover

Expansion Ports:

• The standard TCG 02-G has 1 x copper Ethernet, 2 x configurable pulse outputs, AM IRIG and RS232/422 outputs. 
• Expansion Module 1 adds 2 x TTL IRIG-B outputs and 5 programable pulse outputs that can be ordered as electrical or fibre outputs.
• Expansion Module 2 adds same as "1" but with an additional RJ45 Ethernet port
• Expansion Module 3 adds four programable pulse outputs plus four T1/E1 ports
